Problem
Course delivery needed more than a static catalog. Learners had to register, pay, follow courses, and be tracked without a pile of disconnected pages.
Solution
I built a PHP application with a Tailwind interface for automated registration and payments, course administration, and learner follow-up on MySQL.
YouCourse is an e-learning platform for registration, payments, course management, and learner tracking. It is a web application built with HTML5, Tailwind CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL.
Features
Automated registration
Learner signup without a manual back-office bottleneck.
Payments
Payment flow tied to course access.
Course management
Create and organize courses for learners.
Learner tracking
Follow learner progress after registration.
Architecture
A simplified view of the system and, where relevant, the delivery path.
Application
- PHP
- MySQL
- JavaScript
- Tailwind CSS
Technical challenges
Challenge
Connect registration, payment, and course access without losing learners in the process.
Solution
Kept the PHP backend as the source of truth for enrollment state and presented a clear Tailwind UI for each step.
Result
A learner can move from signup to a course without a separate admin ritual.

Lessons learned
- E-learning platforms fail at the seams: registration, payment, and tracking have to share one data model.
